Resistance Exercise course
The Resistance Exercise course covers topics such as muscular conditioning, introductory weight training, exercise analysis, program design, and safety considerations. Exercise considerations for adults, older adults and youth are covered in this class.
In-person courses are offered at approved agencies across Alberta. Course dates and times are scheduled according to the instructor's and facility's space availability. Virtual course dates are allocated around in person courses and scheduled by the Fitness Alberta team.
To register for this course you have to have completed the Fitness Alberta Foundations in physical activity and exercise (formerly Exercise theory) course.
