How does it work?
For your recertification practical assessment, you need to schedule a Fitness Alberta trainer-educator or Assistant trainer-educator to observe you as you lead a class in your specialty. You will be assessed on specific criteria that applies to your specialty (see the assessment forms below).
- To book your practical assessment you must select an educator who is certified in your specialty:
- List of current Fitness Alberta trainer-educator or assistant trainer-educators
- Fees are determined by the trainer-educator or assistant trainer-educator
- You must schedule and complete your assessment before your certification expiry date.
If an in-person practical assessment for recertification is not available to you, you can complete a virtual practical assessment.
