• Why they are important for older adults’ well-being
• Why they are important to think about in the context of physical activity
• Social barriers to positive social outcomes in physical activity that older adults face
• Ways to support positive social outcomes for your participants
The course is for fitness professionals, for example:
• Certified exercise leaders, instructors, trainers, recreation therapists, and activity coordinators
• Other practitioners interested in physical activity instruction for older adults

• The social side of physical activity for older adults
• How to support the participants you work with
