Group conditioning


The Group Conditioning course covers topics such as:

  • muscular conditioning
  • introductory weight training
  • metabolic training and conditioning
  • exercise analysis
  • safety and the effective use of equipment in a group exercise class

This 16-hour course is offered in-person and virtually. Please note that during the summer, course availability is limited. Please check back, as listings are updated frequently. 

To register for this course we recommend that you are currently registered in, or have completed the Fitness Alberta Foundations in Physical Activity and Exercise course. (You do not have to have written your Foundations exam).
