Fuse Fitness Studio is a unique Adult fitness facility with a strong focus on providing Hybrid model
programs with technology online and traditional exercise classes. You will experience a professional,
friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We combine traditional workout areas with immersive fitness
programs for balanced and refreshed experience. We provide a holistic approach to fitness and
wellness for individuals by delivering the highest level of personal service and attention to our
members in the Kingsland Junction and surrounding community.
Fuse Fitness Studio offers a wide range of fitness options including group fitness classes, small
group personal training, and one-on-one personal training. We are currently seeking a Certified
Group Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals
with experience or interest in working with the 50+ and Older Adult population, as well as those who
can offer fun dance style classes and hybrid classes for a younger demographic.
We are currently recruiting for a Group Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
Primary Responsibilities:
 Welcome customers into the fitness studio and ensure they feel valued and comfortable.
 Conduct a variety of fun and dynamic fitness classes, catering to different age groups and
fitness levels.
 Deliver training and classes effectively and safely, providing alternative exercise techniques
as needed.
 Ensure all sessions and classes start on time and communicate facility and program
information to customers.
 Document and relay patron feedback to the Fitness Manager to continuously improve the
quality of services.
 Implement first aid procedures when required to ensure the safety of participants.
 Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, fostering a supportive and
encouraging atmosphere.

Requirements and qualifications

Hold a recognized Group Exercise Certification with a specialty in choreography (e.g.,
AFLCA or Equivalent).
 Current Standard First Aid with CPR/AED;
 A degree in Recreation, Kinesiology, Physical Education would be an asset;
 Certifications and other licenses consider an asset like TRX, FMS, High Performance, and
Older Adult;
 Group Training: 3-year program leadership experience;
 Exceptional customer service: 2 years focus, good organizational skills, and the ability to
work autonomously and as a team member;
 A current (within 6 months) Police Clearance Screening is required upon hire;
 Good working knowledge and use of various software applications including Microsoft
Outlook, Word, Excel, Shapenet;
 Hours of work for this position are irregular and vary by program and client appointments
(includes days, evenings, and weekends).
